CRM focuses on three fundamentals of physical life – dry, safe, and warm. The Firewood Ministry focuses on keeping people warm. We provide firewood to individuals and families in the local area in order to heat their homes. Our primary actions include felling trees, splitting and stacking wood, and delivering firewood to keep homes warm. In the past year, CRM’s Wood Ministry delivered 48 cords of firewood to 21 households in Stafford and surrounding counties.
Volunteers provide wood cutting skills to fell trees and cut logs to size. If you have a chainsaw great, but don’t be shy if you haven’t used one – we also need people to split wood, stack it for seasoning, and deliver it to those in need.
